Peninsula Land emerges as top gainer on BSE Realty Index

Mumbai-based realty major Peninsula Land, part of Ashok Piramal Group, is trading in the green.

The scrip is currently trading at Rs 82.35 per share, up 3.70 points or 4.70% on BSE. The stock opened at Rs 79.50 compared to its previous close of Rs 78.65. Intraday, the counter touched a high and a low of Rs 83.90 and Rs 79.50, respectively. So far, 1,60,000 shares have been traded on BSE.

The stock touched its 52-week high of Rs 100.90 on September 4, 2009 and a 52-week low of Rs 17.50 on March 6, 2009.

Other major gainers on the BSE Realty index were Ansal Properties & Infrastructure at 4.02%, Parsvnath Developers at 4.39% and Orbit Corporation at 2.78%.
