JSW Energy fixes IPO price band at Rs 100-115

JSW Energy Ltd stated that it has fixed the price-band of its Rs 2,700-crore initial public offer (IPO) between Rs 100 and Rs 115.

However, it is to open bids between December 7 and 9, offloading up to 16.4% stake while each equity share has a face value of Rs 10.

Meanwhile, it is said that it would offer a retail discount of Rs 5 to the issue price determined after the completion of the book-building process.

It would allocate at least 60% of the issue to qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) on a proportionate basis, while it may also bring in anchor investors.

On the other hand, the company, at present, has an installed generating capacity of 995 MW and is constructing 2,000 MW worth of projects.
