HDFC MF to introduce HDFC FMP 14M March 2010

HDFC Mutual Fund will launch the New Fund Offer (NFO) for HDFC FMP 14M March 2010, under HDFC Fixed Maturity Plans – Series XII, a close-ended income scheme. The units of the scheme will be available at Rs 10 per unit during the New Fund Offer (NFO) period.

The NFO will open for subscription on March 9, 2010 and close on March 17, 2010. No entry and exit load is applicable.

The units of HDFC FMP 14M March 2010 will be listed on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) of India. Investors can purchase/ sell the units on a continuous basis on NSE and/or any other stock exchange(s) on which the units are listed

The asset allocation under this scheme will be 60-100% in debt and money market instruments (including securitized debt up to 75% of the net assets of plan) and 0-40% in government securities.

The investment objective is to generate income through investments in Debt/Money Market Instruments and Government Securities maturing on or before the maturity date of the respective plan(s).
