Gujarat NRE Coke leads the gainers of group ‘A’ on BSE
Gujarat NRE Coke is currently trading at Rs 83.20, up by 3.10 points or 3.87% from its previous close of Rs 80.10 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at 80.75 and touched a high and low of 83.45 and 78.10, respectively. So far 12,22,000 shares have been traded on the counter.
The BSE Group ‘A’ stock has the face value of Rs 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs 97.90 on  January 6, 2010 and 52 week low of 19.30 on  March 25, 2009.
The promoters holding in the company as per December 2009 stood at 44.71%, FIIs and DIIs held 25.83% and 6.72% respectively while others were holding 22.74% stake in the company.
The other top gainers of the BSE group ‘A’ are Marico up by 3.54%, Oriental bank up by 2.77%, Reliance Power up by 2.74 % and Shriram Transport up by 2.62 %.
Gujarat NRE Coke posted a net profit after tax of Rs 26.68 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2009 against Rs 13.26 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2008, up by a whopping 101.21% .
Its total income for the latest quarter declined by 26.78% to Rs 321.68 crore from Rs 439.32 crore in the year ago period.
